Signature Cakes — a Dundee cakes-in-a-can maker with a booking site that runs itself

Signature Cakes make cakes in cans out of Dundee — a niche product with a growing following, but no website at all. Orders were coming through Instagram DMs, WhatsApp, and word of mouth. Delivery slots were tracked in a notebook. Customers had no way to know if the cake they wanted was available on the date they wanted it. Suppliers had no clean way to send orders through. And there was no proof of the reviews people were leaving — anyone could post anything, from anywhere.

We built Signature Cakes a booking website from scratch. Customers pick a cake, pick a delivery slot from real availability, and pay a deposit up front. Suppliers get their own WhatsApp order flow that lands directly in the admin dashboard — no more DM chaos. Every review on the site is tied to a real order ID, so what you see on the page is verified, not open to anyone with an internet connection. A location lookup on the homepage tells customers whether Signature Cakes deliver to their postcode — and if they don't, the admin dashboard now shows where the demand is coming from, so delivery zones can be extended based on real data.
